The Wayfarer's Wellspring: Return & Refund Policy

Our Commitment

We stand behind the quality of our handcrafted products. If an item arrives damaged or defective, or if you receive the wrong product, we will make it right.

Eligibility for Returns

  • Timeframe: You may return eligible items within 30 days of your purchase date.

  • Condition: Items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging to be eligible for a return and refund.

  • Proof of Purchase: A receipt or proof of purchase is required for all returns.

Non-Returnable Items

Due to the personal nature and handcrafted quality of our products, certain items cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons, unless they arrive damaged or defective:

  • Opened or used lip balms, body balms, or any personal care items.

  • Burned or partially burned candles.

  • Used incense sticks.

  • Gift cards.

  • Sale or clearance items (unless defective).

Process for Returns & Refunds

  1. Initiate a Return: To start a return, please contact us at contact@thewayfarerswellspring.com.  Please title the email "Return", provide your order number, the item(s) you wish to return and reason for the return.

  2. Return Authorization: We will review your request and, if eligible, provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions on how to send your item(s) back. Please do not send items back without prior authorization.

  3. Packaging: Securely package the item(s) in their original packaging, if possible, along with your proof of purchase and the provided RMA number.

  4. Shipping: You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email notification regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7-10 business days.

  • Late or Missing Refunds: If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at contact@thewayfarerswellspring.com and title your email "Refund Update".

Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged or if you receive a defective product, please contact us immediately (within 7 days of delivery) at contact@thewayfarerswellspring.com and title the email "Damage/Defective Item". Please provide your order number and clear photos of the damage or defect. We will work with you to arrange a replacement or a full refund, including any shipping costs incurred.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same product, please contact us at contact@thewayfarerswellspring.com and title email "Exchange Item".

Shipping Costs for Returns

  • For returns due to our error (e.g., damaged, defective, or incorrect item), we will cover the return shipping costs.

  • For returns due to a change of mind or other reasons not related to product defect/error, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
