The Wayfarer's Wellspring: Shipping Policy
1. Order Processing Time
- Handcrafting & Preparation: As each item from The Wayfarer's Wellspring is lovingly handmade or carefully prepared, please allow 3-5 business days for your order to be processed and ready for shipment. This allows us to ensure the quality and freshness of every product.
- Peak Seasons: During peak seasons (e.g., holidays, major sales events), processing times may extend slightly. We will always communicate any significant delays on our website banner or through email.
- Business Days: Our business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. Orders placed after 2 PM PST on Friday, or on weekends/holidays, will begin processing on the next business day.
2. Shipping Methods & Estimated Delivery Times
We currently offer the following shipping methods for domestic orders within the United States:

Standard Shipping:
- Carriers: USPS First Class Mail, USPS Priority Mail, UPS Ground
- Estimated Delivery: 3-7 business days after your order has been shipped.
- Cost: Calculated at checkout based on weight and destination.

Expedited Shipping:
- Carriers: USPS Priority Mail Express, UPS 2-Day Air
- Estimated Delivery: 1-2 business days after your order has been shipped.
- Cost: Calculated at checkout.
Please Note: Delivery estimates are in addition to the order processing time. While we strive for timely deliveries, these are estimates provided by the carriers and are not guaranteed.
3. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight of your order, its dimensions, and your delivery address. You will see the exact shipping cost before completing your purchase.
- Free Standard Shipping: We are delighted to offer Free Standard Shipping on all U.S. orders over $75.
4. Order Tracking
Once your order has been processed and shipped, you will receive a Shipment Confirmation email with a tracking number. Please allow 24-48 hours for the tracking information to update and become active. You can track your package's journey directly via the link provided in the email.
5. Shipping Restrictions
- P.O. Boxes / APO/FPO Addresses: We currently ship to P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO/DPO addresses via USPS.
- International Shipping: At this time, The Wayfarer's Wellspring primarily ships within the United States. We hope to offer international shipping in the future! Please follow our social media and newsletter for updates or reach out at contact@thewayfarerswellspring.com if you would like to receive our products outside of the United States.
6. Incorrect Shipping Address & Refused Delivery
- Incorrect Address: It is the customer's responsibility to ensure the shipping address is correct at checkout. If an order is lost or returned to us due to an incorrect or undeliverable address provided by the customer, we are unable to refund the original shipping cost. We can reship the order to the correct address at the customer's expense or issue a refund for the product value only (less original shipping cost) once the package is returned to us.
- Refused Delivery: If a package is refused upon delivery, the customer will be responsible for the original shipping charges, any import fees or taxes incurred, and the cost of returning the package to us. This amount will be deducted from any refund issued for the product.
7. Damaged, Lost, or Missing Packages
- Damaged Items: If your order arrives damaged, please contact us immediately (within 7 days of delivery) at contact@thewayfarerswellspring.com. Please title the email "Damaged Item", include your order number, and clear photos of the damaged item(s) and the packaging. We will work with the shipping carrier to resolve the issue and arrange for a replacement or refund.

Lost or Missing Packages: If your tracking information shows "delivered" but you have not received your package, please:
- Check your mailbox, porch, or common areas.
- Check with neighbors who may have accepted the package on your behalf.
- Contact your local post office or the relevant shipping carrier directly.
- If after these steps you still cannot locate your package, please contact us within 7-10 days of the "delivered" scan. While we are not responsible for packages once they are marked as delivered by the carrier, we will assist you in filing a claim with the shipping company where applicable.
8. Potential Service Interruptions
While we strive for consistent shipping times, unforeseen circumstances (such as extreme weather, natural disasters, carrier delays, or national/global events) may impact delivery schedules. We will always do our best to communicate any significant delays on our website.
